Welcome! I’m Joyce. I’m an experienced doula (since 2009!) with a Masters in Biological Sciences. I absolutely love sharing education and evidence to empower families and fellow birth professionals. I combine my science background with my training as a doula, giving you high-touch, individualized care. It’s my honor to work here in my community of Lincoln, Nebraska, attending births, teaching Evidence-Based BirthⓇ Childbirth Classes, and training new doulas.

For parents, I offer childbirth education classes, and doula services through my doula agency, Birth Plus.

For aspiring doulas, I offer DONA International approved birth doula workshops.

For birth professionals, I offer continuing education.
